Trip To Living Bible Museum
We got curious in visiting this museum which was at least more than 1 hour away from Deer Creek. There are 4 length tours that are available but we skipped "Heart of the Reformation" since we were running out of time. We did the 3 tours; "The Life of Christ", "Miracles of The Old testament" and "Museum of Christian Martyrs". They usually call these tours Bible Walk, because perhaps it's because you're walking all the time until the tour stops. :)
If you are a beginner Bible reader, it's interesting and can help you familiarize the Bible characters.
I was able to get a quick video clip of our Bible walk tour. Photo taking is prohibited inside, but I was able to get a video. Just to share what is inside the tour :).

Our Trip To Holy Land (Experience) ...
Fresh from the airport, we decided to go directly to the place after a late lunch. The place was just 20 minutes away, so not bad for the driving. We arrived there at 2:45pm. We were just in time for the "Character Meet & Greet" where I got to meet Jesus-the actor. Although he's not the real one because we know there is only one Jesus, - it was like a big fulfillment for me to see him look like real. We then proceeded to Shofar Auditorium to watch the musical show presentation "Praise through Ages" (35 minutes).
“Praise Through the Ages” – a 35-minute show of artistic expressions of faith and worship down through the ages with presentations of great images of art works throughout history alternated with a live musical presentation with music from the oldest in history progressing to today’s musical songs and rythms, in the Shofar Auditorium. It was awesome and captivating. The singers and performers were all excellent!...worth watching. You can sing with them as well. How I wished I could get photos but it is strictly prohibited once you are inside.
The museum closes at 5PM, and so we were able to watch the last and considered to be the highlights of all the live shows there; a 20-minute passion drama called "Behold The Lamb"
Before the show, there is a 15 minute talk presentation at the Calvary’s Garden Tomb about the injustices of jesus' trial.
The passion drama shows the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ in a musical presentation. The actors and actresses sing live and they have great voices. I love their voices! I took some short video clips as well just to share you the idea on what the show is all about.
Video are a little bit blurry, bu I guess it is still recognizable. That is usually the case when you watch it for free! hehehe...
Opening - (with the song "Via Dolorosa") by Sandi Patti.
I am familiar with this song usually sung during the Lenten season.
The Crucifixion of Christ:
I actually spent long hours to edit this video because it was long. I can't seem to share it because the length is too much on my video streaming site :).
The resurrection:
Holy Land Experience is an ideal place for church group trips and tours or for family as well.
Some Photos of the Place and The Drama:
Mt. Sterling, Ohio Trip Adventure
I like the place...it's again another hideaway from busy life. It's a place where you can relax and unwind from daily stressful work.
The name speaks for itself...I only got the chance to take a quick peek on the lake, and I saw mama and papa deer with little bambi on the area...they're sooo cute!
I took a video clip but I haven't check it yet, I think I made it too far..
Anyway, I will try to get some more photos or videos whenever I get the chance. We only have limited time and tomorrow we will go to Mansfield, Ohio for the Living Bible Museum.
I still have to look for deer around..lol! Wish me luck I can find one.
I had a big struggle to look for a deer once more...but to no avail. I checked my video that I got from my phone, and it was not good at all. It was all blurred, and little bambi can't be seen, so I just deleted it. I wasn't able to take even a single photo..as in nada! Anyway, just to relieve me from not getting any photos for the deer, we decided to drive down to a restaurant, 15-20 miles away from our hotel. Food is good and is home cooked.I love their home style sweet tea, and hubby loves to nibble everything edible inside that restaurant, lol!
Burped!
Meanwhile, we bought a cup for hubby's coffee. And it's still part of his collection. I sometimes wonder where will I place these mug collections, hah! Hhmm, if no more options, I can use his wardrobe cabinet, lol! Here's the video clip I did to him with his beloved mug!

Kansas City, Missouri Trip
"The City of Fountains"
Our hotel was just close to almost all of the attractions and parks. Best thing was it is adjacent to a skyway going to Union Station...pretty much close! :).
Inside Union Station:
Magnificent architecture!
Our KC Rail Experience:
If you want to experience the KC Rail, it is located inside Union Station at the Science City Museum. Inside reflects all the ancient history of the American railroad. You go inside, and there's much more to learn :).
Nelson Atkins Museum of Art:
If you love arts, sculptures and paintings, then, this is a good place to visit. There are some areas where photography is not allowed but you might just try doing it with no cam flash :). You can also do audio tour if you prefer. It is a good guide getting to know more on what a painting is all about.
Me doing the audio tour inside.

A Powerful Text Link Builder
In order for a website to rank well in search engines, there are at least three key components to consider. First is the content. They say "content is king." It means a site has pages of natural relevant content. Second, are incoming links, (also known as votes) and third, are search engine friendly sites. Of all the three, building incoming links is the trickiest and the most time consuming aspect, but it is very important to improve your rankings. The more inbound links your site has, the more popular it is. And search engines loves popular sites! This is where your page rank comes in depending on how popular the site is. Speaking of page rank, please take note that edu links does not focus on page rank. The value is based on the overall authority of your site which includes your site's age, backlinks, outgoing links, the quantity as well as the quality of pages indexed. These makes edu links powerful.
With EduTextLink, you can get the highest possible quality links based upon current search engine algorithms. They don't bug you up with monthly charges once you oder. Their program provides incoming .edu text links within unique relevant content for a one-time price. So, if you want your domain to do well with search engine rankings, visit EduTextLink,to gain more informations. Don't forget to order conveniently online too ;).
Church Camping - Solomon's Island
This was a 2-day affair for our church family members to camp out in Solomon's island, but we were only able to catch up for the trip on Saturday, July 14, since hubby had to work late of Friday.
Did you know that this place is an ideal for a real, quiet vacation far from the bustling noise of the city? We were not able to go further around the area since we had to go back as soon as possible for another family affair get-together.
Here are some quick photos that we had before heading home.
I am looking forward to someday go back there to get a full visit and tour the place. If you enjoy relaxing by the beach, then I guess this is the ideal place for you...when you are in Maryland :).
See the real beauty of SOLOMON'S ISLAND. It's nostalgic and awesome.

Lap Band Surgery
Excursion at Skyline Caverns
A Day of Fun in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Tulsa, Oklahoma the night of June 5. Airport security was on alert at level orange, so there was much flight delays. So far, it wasn't that crowded probably because it was still mid week and early when we left for Tulsa. Our itinerary was BWI - OHARE - TULSA Int'l Aiport.
We were checked in at Radisson, and we didn't start doing our usual itinerary schedules not until on the 7th the whole day. Of course, I understand this is not a pleasure trip but rather my hubby's work trip on purpose. But on the other side of it, it is still a good chance to have certain time of his day reserved for our usual tour trip.
June 7, 2007
First itinerary: Philbrook Museum of Art - just 15 minutes away from our hotel so that was good. We both learned to love the place. It's somewhat like a combination of a botanical garden, and a museum. Of course, inside the museum were variety of collections...paintings, sculptures, etc...
We had captured some photos of us and in the garden...we found it more mesmerizing in the garden, really!
Meantime, while walking alongside, we saw few squirrels playing under the tree looking for their nuts. We managed to capture one who kept on coming close to us. I found him so cute, doing little things on his own with his food..lol!
This one really wanted to catch somebody's attention! He's kinda making himself impressive...he was aware he was being on camera.
I thought I could just lie on the bench and get some sleep...hehehe..hubby said gottcha! and click goes the camera! geesh!
We didn't had any breakfast, so after a brief walk in the garden, we went to a restaurant which is located inside the museum. It's a small one but somewhat a formal one...and good food! I loved the grilled chicken with lettuce and tomatoes. yummy! ...with a refreshing iced tea.
Inside the museum:
Mwah to my doggie!
We kept on figuring this weird figure but we really don't know what it is except for that eyes and lips and for sure that's human's, wala nang iba!..lol!
Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum:
We went straight ahead to the zoo...and by the way, all of our trips were all done in a day..that's what happens when we do have little time left.
We went first to the elephant encounter...they're my husband's favorite animal, the elephants! We saw sneezy, the male elephant who's 34 years old. He was actually playing on the poolside.
Sneezy's girlfriends. I forgot the name of the other one, but the other elephant's name is gunda.
Hubby caught me chasing the geese again! He tried to stop me because he said they really have a painful bite. Most of these geese are mothers who are protecting their youngs, so they were a li'l bit aggressive.
The tiger even was in the mood to come closer to us and made his pose!
Inside the butterfly house! All we had to do was to catch a photo glimpse of their beautiful wings flapping together. Here are some good ones we captured! I compressed the photos for a much larger space...
Actually, it was a good idea to ride on the train just to go around the zoo. The good thing about the zoo is you can get closer view with the animals and get good shots. When you're on the train, they would just let you tour around the area and can still see the animals around.
Afterwhich, I was sooo tired and exhausted, and was very, very thirsty! The temperature was super hot! we were in the 90F that day!
Tulsa Air & Space Museum and Planetarium:
It was just a short visit. The museum was not that large, and there are some few war planes inside used during the world war 1 & 2 plus some small plane collections too. We tried watching a show in the planetarium but hubby said it was very boring...and so he slept during that whole show! Funny thing was, he was snoring while the show was on...gessh! I had to shake him a li'l bit..good thing, nobody complained hahaha!!!
Whew! It was a fun day afterall! A bit tiring but was worth it!
We had a tough day going back home...all flights were delayed, we were inside the plane and waited for the plane's take off for more than 30 minutes! Guck! That wasn't fun! From Tulsa to Chicago, still long waits, Chicago to Baltimore, flight was delayed for 45 minutes, airport crowded! Haay!!! super dead tired arriving back home!
Above all else, we thanked God for making us safe back home! We were blessed to face another new day with strength to do our deck staining which will be the next topic! I got sunburns!!! waaaahhhh!!!
I'll catch up later folks!
